Berlin2004

These photographs were made in June 2004 during a 10 day visit to Berlin. I concentrated my time in the half of the city that used to be East Berlin, which is now undergoing an economic renewal. Every day the overcast light filtered through a pelt of clouds until about four in the afternoon when the sun snuck below the clouds and lit everything from the side.
